Covert Operators Partnership and a New Product Release

Most of my current customers know about this, but I’m posting it for the benefit of anyone visiting the site for the first time. A few months ago, I joined forces with The Covert Operators to work on various sound library projects. Bjorn Vayner and Andreas Wetterberg, the original founders of the company, started operations over 5 years ago. Since that time, they’ve created some fantastic sample libraries and live clip collections that are tailored specifically to Ableton Live. I’m honored to have joined up with a crew that has such a substantial history of great work!

With that bit of background out of the way, I’m very proud to announce the first product resulting from this partnership: “The Operator Sandbox.” The Sandbox is a sound library that consists of 59 instrument chains based around the Operator FM synthesizer in Ableton Live. Each of the chains is an instrument rack with all 8 macro knobs fully mapped, named, and color-coded for quick inspiration and workflow.

Additionally, there are 300 live clips that take advantage of these instruments, all of which contain complex modulation envelopes and other settings. Of course, all of these features are fully editable to conform to the needs of your project. Just think of this as a huge collection of chunks of inspiration that can be modified and abused to meet your every whim!
