The Sound Design of 1982′s “Tron”
Take a couple minutes out of your day to blast into the past with this featurette on the sound design for the original “Tron” film. It’s a bite-sized look at creative, sample-based sound design. Also: Fairlight!
This video has inspired me to take my little Edirol R09HR and crappy mic around the house to capture some debris sounds that I’ll later process into part of an abstract soundscape.

Yeah those were the days where computers were still novel enough that educational videos couldn’t afford to imply anything. It all had to be laid out, chapter and verse for the unwitting public
